PurchaseFrom a prominent family of Umbria, he entered the Friars Minor likely at Todi. He studied at Paris and taught there and at Bologna. Named lector of theology in the school of the Roman Curia (1279), he was elected Minister General of the Order (1287), and named cardinal (1288). His writings included a Commentary on the Sentences, Disputed Questions on many topics, and sermons. He died in 1302.
