PurchaseAlexander (Bonini) of Alessandria was a Franciscan theologian who studied under John Duns Scotus, and succeeded him as regent master at Paris before his election as Minister General of the Order. Besides his commentary on Peter Lombard's Sentences he also produced works on Aristotle's Metaphysics and on usury.
