PurchaseThe Poverello of Assisi, founder of the Friars Minor, collaborator of Clare of Assisi, and guide for brother and sister penitents, was an effective preacher, a composer of poetic texts in early Italian vernacular, and a writer of Latin prayers, rules, letters and exhortations over a period of twenty years. He was canonized by Gregory IX in 1228.

It is owned and operated by the Seraphic Province of the Order of Friars Minor. It stocks many, but not all of our Quaracchi publications.
